The Strategic Alliances team builds on the Centre’s expertise to mobilise new support and innovative partnerships for Sustainable Chemistry. Its mission is to position Sustainable Chemistry as a key enabling field of knowledge for tackling the triple crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution, while connecting it to broader transformation processes such as the circular economy, safe and sustainable by design innovation, sustainable supply chains, and the bioeconomy.
As a bridge between ISC3 and cross-sectoral partners Strategic Alliances strengthens cooperation and resource mobilisation through joint projects, events, and publications. By engaging with funding institutions and industry actors, the team helps position ISC3 as a trusted partner for advancing Sustainable Chemistry and its contribution to global sustainability transitions.
The private sector plays a key role in driving sustainable transformation. The Strategic Alliances team fosters practical, hands-on collaboration with established companies, industry-led initiatives, sectoral sustainability programmes, and industrial associations to advance large-scale change.
