The Live Days on June 15th and 16th featured a broad program, including workshops, panel discussions and product presentations. The virtual exhibition platform was open until June 30th offering the possibility of networking or accessing recordings of all presentations and discussions on demand.
In this frame, the ISC3 Innovation Hub (IH) presented its Global Start-up Service on June 15th, 2021 in a 15 min pitch. The presentation also featured a contribution on ISC3 Research and Education Hub’s (REH) study courses in sustainable chemistry by Ms. Myriam Elschami, Leuphana University, Lüneburg, followed by an open Q&A session in the Achema Pulse’s Open Forum. In the afternoon, the ISC3 offered a workshop on “Sustainable Business Model Canvas”, held by Prof. Dr. Klaus-Michael Ahrend from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt and moderated by ISC3 Start-Up Relations and Communications Manager Ms. Silvia Nikova. In this fully booked workshop, the participants got an overview of how to integrate sustainability aspects into the business model and what benefits it brings.
On June 16th, ISC3, 5-HT, BITKOM, and Forum Start-Up Chemie organized their first ever digital Start-up Slam at a live stage 3, moderated by Mr. Chris Brow. 24 international start-ups from the sector of sustainable chemistry and process industry pitched their innovations to the Achema Pulse 2021 audience, showcased their innovations via their personal exhibitor booths and got the opportunity to use the platform to connect with the vast international process industry community.

The ISC3 is an international centrepromoting and developing sustainable chemistry solutions worldwide. It is a globally acting centre, a multi-stakeholder platform that engages with civil society, politics, and the private sector to contribute to international chemicals policies and the formation of a global network for collaboration, innovation, research, and education on Sustainable Chemistry.
