Knowledge management and information dissemination on Sustainable Chemistry innovation, policies and research are important cross-sectional tasks of the ISC3. To support a better understanding of and a sound discussion on Sustainable Chemistry as a solution provider for sustainable development and a key contribution to a pollution free planet the ISC3 acts as a knowledge and dialogue platform. Events, conferences and exhibitions are key elements to spread the word and invite all stakeholder groups to join the discussion and share insights from all over the world.
In order to make the global know-how and the ongoing discussion on Sustainable Chemistry available to all stakeholders the ISC3 is going to set up the ISCnet including an Atlas on Sustainable Chemistry by mapping knowledge and activities all over the world and connecting science, entrepreneurs, and industry with the public sector and civil society. By highlighting best practices in sustainable chemistry innovation, the ISC3 makes a showcase for the potential contributions to sustainable development and especially new economic perspectives for the developing countries. Through media activities, video clips, awareness raising materials and social media engagement the ISC3 reaches out to experts as well as to the public. Being a contact point for ideas and questions relating to Sustainable Chemistry from all over the world, the ISC3 acts as an interactive platform and enables continuous collaborative knowledge development.
